Der ACR40U-B1 von ACS ist ein kompakter, leistungsstarker USB-Kontakt-Smartcard-Leser. Neue Funktionen sind die Firmware-Aktualisierbarkeit sowie die Speicherung von Benutzerdaten auf dem Gerät.

Der ACR40U wird mit einem Standzubehör für aufrechte und horizontale Aufstellung geliefert. Er unterstützt die Standards CCID, PC/SC und Microsoft® WHQL und die Betriebssysteme Windows®, Linux®, macOS, iOS, iPadOS und Android™.
